This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Optical Network Engineer, based in Plano, TX, with the flexibility to work remotely for a portion of the time. The selected candidate will design, implement, and manage optical network infrastructure, ensure optimal network performance, and troubleshoot technical issues. Responsibilities also include adhering to security protocols, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of network operations and designs.
- Experience in Network Design and Network Engineering to build and optimize complex optical networks
- Proficiency in Network Administration and Troubleshooting to monitor, maintain, and resolve network performance issues efficiently
- Strong skills in Network Security to ensure the safety, integrity, and security of data communications
- Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, combining on-site and remote collaboration
- Familiarity with optical network technologies, protocols, and industry standards is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or similar) are an advantage
