Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development:Design, develop, and deploy process automation and workflow applications using the . This includes building user interfaces (using SAIL), process models, records, and business rules.
- System Integration:Integrate Appian applications with external systems, databases, and APIs to create seamless, end-to-end business solutions.
- Requirements Analysis:Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Code Quality & Best Practices:Ensure adherence to Appian development best practices, Northern Trust's architecture frameworks, and coding standards. Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Testing and Optimization:Participate in application testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance) and debugging to ensure functionality and optimal performance. Conduct system performance tuning as needed.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance:Provide support and maintenance for existing Appian applications, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Technical Documentation:Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, test plans, and release notes.
