Job Description: We are currently accepting RBT applications for full-time positions on the Evening shift at our residential site in Dracut, MA.

Position Location: Dracut, Ma

Open Shift Schedules:

Open Schedule A: 36 Hours Per Week

Friday- Sunday: 9:00 AM- 9:00 PM (36 hours per week)

Days off: Monday-Thursday

Open Schedule B: 32 Hours Per Week

Monday- Thursday: 3:00 PM- 9:00 PM & Saturday: 3:00 PM- 11:00 PM

Days off: Friday & Sunday

Open Schedule C: 40 Hours Per Week

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:00- 11:00 PM & Saturday: 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Days off: Tuesday & Sunday

Under the supervision of the clinical team, the Behavioral Technician will support the implementation of behavior support plans, collect data, and assist with conducting assessments (e.g., preference assessments), and attend meetings as needed. Maintains compliance with Department of Developmental Services (DDS) regulations and Alternative Supports Inc, (ASI) policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities (These duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):

Maintain administrative direction strategic growth and overall coordination of our Residential programs.

  • Participates in the delivery of a continuum of comprehensive behavior analytic services and supports individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities within their natural environments.
  • Implements behavioral interventions designed by the clinical team to reduce challenging behavior and/or to promote acquisition of replacement skills.
  • Implements specially designed programs that include developing academic skills, vocational skills, daily living skills and communication and social skills.
  • Develops and maintains supportive working relationships with the individual’s families/guardians.
  • Record data and document of how each individual responds to their skill programs.
  • Conducts preference assessments as needed.
  • Conducts data collection for skill assessments and behavior support plans.
  • Graph data to illustrate skill progress over time and submit narrative reports/summaries daily.
  • Participates in staff meetings or other meetings as needed.
  • Participates in the programming process, collaborating with other members of the team to promote continuity of care.
  • Participates in the intake process as directed/requested.
  • Ensure policies and best practices are implemented to produce optimal treatment, health, advancement, and safety of individuals served.
  • Adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) code of ethics.
  • Ensure the health, safety, & welfare of individuals.
  • Carry out all activities in accordance with the agency’s mission, policies, procedures, and objectives and supervisory directions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) Certification/License and 2 years of experience in the human service field is strongly preferred. In lieu of an RBT certification, 5 or more years of relevant experience may suffice, must have successfully completed an accredited Registered Behavior Technician Program in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and the Registered Behavior Technician Task List. Or must possess a minimum of bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited university.
  • Must possess a current Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) certificate/license or pass the Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) certification/license exam within 3 months from date of hire.
  • Possess current and valid Class D Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
  • Must possess a current Medication Administration Program (MAP) certificate or pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification program within 3 months from date of hire.
  • Must obtain and maintain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid (FA) certification.
  • Must possess fiscal management abilities.
  • Ability to teach and inspire individuals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Department of Developmental Services (DDS) regulations is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, problem-solving and written communications skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check(s).

Sign-on Bonuses:

$500.00 Sign-on Bonus will be provided after 90-Days of employment.
