Role Description
This is a flexible part-time, on-site role for a Physical Therapy Assistant located in the Toledo, OH area. The Physical Therapy Assistant will assist Physical Therapists in executing treatment plans, support rehabilitation efforts, and provide high-quality patient care. Responsibilities also include monitoring and documenting progress, educating patients on therapeutic exercises and self-care, and ensuring compliance with prescribed therapy plan of care. Collaboration with team members to maintain a positive patient experience along with optimal learning are key components of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Physical Therapy Treatment and patient care.
- Understanding of medical principles relevant to therapy and healing- holistic knowledge a plus.
- Previous experience is helpful, but new graduates willing to learn from seasoned therapists will be considered.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are needed along with personal motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant and current Ohio state licensure along with current CPR certification.
- Commitment to delivering caring, compassionate and ethical care to our patients
