We are a smaller, yet leading developmental disability agency seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to join our team as a Program Coordinator. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing person-centered programs that empower individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.

Position: Program Coordinator - Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)

Job Overview:

As the Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized service plans for our clients with developmental disabilities. Working closely with a team of caring professionals, you will help create an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters personal growth and independence for the individuals we serve. Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs, strengths, and goals.

- Collaborate with clients, their families, and support teams to develop individualized service plans (ISP) based on person-centered approaches.

- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of ISP goals and objectives.

- Supervise and support direct care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records related to clients' progress and services provided.

- Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of developmental disabilities and incorporate best practices into our programs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, etc.).

- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.

- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others.
