The team works closely with clients and families to make daily life safer and simpler while promoting independence and quality of life.

Role Description The In Home Caregiver is a full-time, on-site role based in Boise, ID, providing direct support to clients in their homes. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility, as well as supporting activities of daily living like meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders (as allowed by policy). The caregiver helps clients maintain independence and safety, offers companionship, and observes and reports changes in condition to care coordinators or supervisors. The role involves following individualized care plans, respecting client preferences and privacy, and collaborating with families and the A.N.S. care team to ensure consistent, high-quality home care.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated caregiving experience, with the ability to provide compassionate, reliable support to individuals with varying levels of need.
  • Skills in home care and personal care, including assistance with daily living activities and safe mobility support.
  • Experience or strong interest in elder care, with an understanding of the needs of aging adults who wish to remain at home.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including clear communication, patience, and the ability to build respectful, trusting relationships with clients and families.
  • Ability to follow care plans, maintain documentation, and report concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior home care, CNA, or related health care experience is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation, ability to work in client homes in Boise, ID, and willingness to work a consistent full-time schedule.
  • Compliance with all applicable background checks, reference checks, and any required certifications or training.
