Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Foreman to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping, leadership skills, and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. As a Landscape Foreman, you will oversee a crew of landscapers, manage daily operations, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of landscapers on residential and/or commercial projects.
- Plan and execute landscaping tasks, including planting, mulching, pruning, and hardscaping.
- Read and interpret landscape design plans and ensure accurate implementation.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as skid steers, excavators and other small machinery.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Ensure crew adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Train and mentor team members to improve skills and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of materials and report needs to management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of landscaping experience.
- Knowledge of plants, trees, and horticultural practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and landscape plans.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Certification in landscaping or horticulture is a plus.
