Responsibilities
- Assist in annual budget preparation
- Responsible for the preparation of journal entries to record revenue, expenses, accruals, allocations, and other general ledger transactions pertaining to the programs assigned
- Prepare monthly invoices for Medi-Cal funded programs and Specialized Programming
- Prepare annual cost reports and related reconciliations
- Support in ongoing financial analysis including investigating variances from plan
- Analyze and ensure costs are accurately charged to each program
- Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies
- Actively support year-end financial audit process
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- 3 years of increasing responsibilities in accounting/finance, with financial reporting experience
- Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Non-Profit experienced is highly desirable
- Proficient with Excel (intermediate level or higher)
- Knowledge of Abila/Sage MIP is a plus
- Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills
- High level of accuracy
- High integrity and strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid California driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and auto insurance
- Pay range of $32-$39/hour
