Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and voltmeters.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with NEC guidelines and local regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Proficiency in working with low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Experience as an industrial electrician is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Ability to effectively use diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and voltmeters.
- Competence in utilizing power tools and hand tools for installation and repair tasks.
