ELL Instructional Assistant Alternative Education Day Academy - 2026/2027

Burlington High School, Alternative Education Program
Description:
- Support students in the Alternative Education Day Academy to support the attainment of a high school diploma.
- Provide translation services during classroom instruction; assist teachers and students with content.
- Serve as a key point of contact for Spanish-speaking families, facilitating clear and consistent communication between home and school.
- Assist teachers with the preparation of instructional tasks to ensure an inclusive and accessible learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Appropriate DESE Certification with SEI Endorsement preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Compensation:
In accordance with the Instructional Assistants' contract, red scale
Start Date:
August 2026
