Role Description
This is a temporary on-site role for an Occupational Therapist at our Clifton, NJ location. The right candidate will be considered for long term employment. The Occupational Therapist will assess and evaluate patient needs, develop individualized therapy plans, and deliver a range of treatments focused on rehabilitation and functional improvement. The professional will collaborate with patients, and a multidisciplinary medical team to promote recovery and enhance quality of life. Additional responsibilities include documentation of progress, recommending therapeutic devices, and educating patients on strategies for effective therapy outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy methodologies and practices
- Knowledge of Medicine and Rehabilitation techniques
- Experience working musculoskeletal injuries acute and chronic.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with patients, and healthcare teams
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Jersey
- Prior experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
