Job Description: We have opportunities in our Fabrication and Upholstery departments at our Eden Prairie headquarters. Cross-training in all departments to ensure we can provide services to our customers as needed.
Personal Requirements:
· Be punctual and reliable
· Professional manners and appearance.
· Polite and patient.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with co-workers and customers, as needed.
· Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment as much as 75 pounds.
· Ability to perform physical movements, including squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, climbing stairs, etc.
· Self-motivated, hard-working, with attention to detail.
· Willing to work overtime.
· Willing to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks and details.
· Ability to work safely with tools and other furniture-related equipment.
· Reliable transportation to the main location.
Mechanically inclined, hand-tool experience a must.
Ability to problem-solve.
Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.
Position Details (warehouse and production):
· Upholstery of office partitions and related items.
· Assembly and disassembly of office furniture.
· Ability to meet production standards for quality and quantity of job tasks.
· Ability to accurately record time and details of specific projects.
· Handling furniture, tools, and equipment safely and with care.
· Carpentry, welding, or forklift experience is a plus
· Positive interaction with other team members, supervisors, and managers.
Pay and Benefits:
· $20-$24 per hour, based on experience.
· Benefits offered after 90 days.
