The Marketing Manager oversees Alterman’s Digital Marketing, Creative Brand, and Integrated Campaign and Communications functions. The Marketing Manager leads day-to-day digital campaigns, brand management, content creation, and creative production while mentoring team members and ensuring alignment with department, operations, and corporate growth objectives.
Essential Functions:
1. Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution: 40%
- Develops and manages comprehensive digital marketing strategies, leading integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, and web channels aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Oversees digital marketing efforts including website strategy, SEO, paid media, online listings, and lead generation.
- Oversees development of content including landing pages, thought leadership, and visual assets.
- Analyzes campaign performance and adjusts strategies to optimize ROI and engagement.
- Partners with Business Development to support vertical market initiatives.
- Supports proposal and pursuit efforts with strategic and creative input.
2. Creative Brand Leadership: 20%
- Ensures consistent application of brand standards across all platforms and materials.
- Oversees design and production of digital and print collateral.
- Provides direction for photography, videography, and visual storytelling.
- Collaborates with the Marketing Director to evolve and maintain brand identity.
3. Team Leadership: 30%
- Supervises marketing team members across digital and creative functions.
- Establishes workflows, priorities, and production timelines.
- Ensures quality control across all marketing deliverables.
- Identifies and supports professional development opportunities.
- Coaches team members while maintaining high performance standards and accountability.
- Identifies staffing needs and supports talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting and interviewing prospective team members.
- Contributes to marketing budget management by monitoring spend and providing input into budget planning and allocation.
4. Performance Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitors and evaluates marketing performance metrics across digital channels, including website traffic, SEO, social media, and paid advertising.
- Develops and presents insights to improve campaign effectiveness, engagement, and brand reach.
- Maintains organized documentation of marketing assets and performance data.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
- Minimum 5-8 years of progressive marketing experience.
- Experience leading digital campaigns and managing creative production required.
- Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industry preferred.
- Experience managing direct reports preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
