This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr. Network Engineer located in San Jose, CA. The Sr. Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain high-performance network infrastructures to support Altera’s cutting-edge technology environment. Responsibilities include network administration, troubleshooting, ensuring network security, and creating scalable, efficient network designs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet technical needs and optimizing system performance are integral parts of the role.
- Expertise in Network Administration and Network Engineering to configure, monitor, and maintain robust networks
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve network issues quickly
- Experience in Network Security to implement and manage infrastructure to protect against cyber threats
- Proficiency in Network Design to create scalable, high-performance, and efficient networks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
