Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of FAEs, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Implement training programs to enhance technical expertise and soft skills within the team.
- Establish performance metrics and conduct evaluations to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for key accounts, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to tailor solutions that align with customer requirements.
- Provide insights to product development by relaying customer feedback and market trends.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the FAE team's impact, including process improvements and resource allocation.
- Monitor industry developments to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
- Work closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Represent Altera at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to promote the company's solutions.

Qualifications
What We Want to See:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in field application engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing global teams and driving customer success.
- Strong understanding of FPGA technologies, system architecture, and industry-specific applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to support customer engagements and team development.
- Experience in embedded systems, AI/ML, or semiconductor industries.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
