Job Overview -
40 week contract - 36 weeks during the school year and 4 weeks of summer program.
- The Site Coordinator will oversee after-school programming in math, reading, and science for students from Hoquiam School District (K–2); actual afterschool programming will happen at Emerson Elementary. Responsible for managing an afterschool program serving approximately 30 students per day during the school year who would attend programming for at least 30 days. Duties include recruiting, hiring, and training tutors to provide appropriate support staff: student supervisory ratios (1:6); coordinating with teachers, principals, counselors, and data. Staff to determine student recruitment and defined support; managing daily program operations; ensuring alignment with academic and SEL needs in line with Emerson Elementary School expectations; and submitting attendance and performance data. The Site Coordinator will also provide grade level, demographics, and test data to the project evaluator. Must work within set budget parameters. This is a 40-week (36 school year and 4-week summer) contract. Pay range is dependent on experience. This position supports a Department of Education/OSPI 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) grant (September 2026 – August 2030), relying on annual and ongoing federal funding. The grant funds a partnership between Altera and Hoquiam School District to provide before- and/or after-school learning opportunities for elementary students focused on remediation, acceleration, and enrichment.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
