Basic Job Functions:
Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US, Inc. manufactures and distributes engineered fasteners across multiple industries, supporting construction, industrial, and specialty applications.
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating and qualifying sales opportunities, supporting marketing-driven initiatives, prospecting new business, and acting as the primary sales rep for smaller accounts. This role partners closely with marketing to develop campaigns, refine lead quality, and ensure a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. The position is primarily focused on lead qualification activities, with collaboration and handoff to outside sales for advanced opportunities, although the Inside Sales Representative will own lead conversion and maintenance for smaller opportunities.

Experience:
Previous experience in inside sales, outside sales, business development, or customer service is required. Experience in the construction industry or manufacturing is preferred.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or marketing is preferred.

Essential Responsibilities:
Strategic Initiatives
- Partner with marketing to develop and execute targeted campaigns to generate leads
- Provide feedback to marketing to refine lead quality, messaging, and targeting
- Support continuous improvement of lead generation process, source tools, and lead qualification processes
Sales Management
- Engage inbound leads to assess customer needs and qualification criteria
- Identify, prospect, and develop new customer opportunities through outbound outreach (phone, email, digital platforms)
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers within target markets
- Nurture early-stage prospects until they meet qualification standards
- Clearly communicate product value propositions and basic technical capabilities of fasteners
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity within CRM
- Monitor and follow up on prospect engagement and activity
- Identify worthwhile leads that will not be transferred to outside sales, convert and maintain the customers, acting as the customer’s primary sales representative.
- Identify and execute activities required to meet individual sales targets and support sales teams in achieving team targets
Administration
- Coordinate and manage sales calls, virtual meetings, and follow-up activities
- Track and report on key performance metrics (lead conversion, pipeline contribution, campaign effectiveness)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all sales activities
