We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Infrastructure Solutions Architect.
Position Summary
The Infrastructure Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting secure, scalable infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of U.S. government agencies. This role combines deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity with strong pre-sales and customer engagement skills. Working closely with engineering, capture, and business development teams, the Infrastructure Solutions Architect ensures that delivers compliant, innovative, and cost-effective solutions aligned with federal requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture and Design
- Lead the design of end-to-end infrastructure solutions, including cloud adoption, cybersecurity, enterprise IT services, and IT modernization.
- Develop high- and low-level architecture designs, system diagrams, and documentation to support proposals and implementation.
- Ensure solutions comply with federal frameworks and standards such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices to maintain competitive, forward-looking solutions.
- Conduct needs analyses with federal clients to identify technical requirements, dependencies, and constraints.
Pre-Sales and Proposal Support
- Collaborate with capture and business development teams to shape winning strategies for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Develop technical responses, white papers, and presentations to communicate NuAxis capabilities and value proposition.
- Act as the SME during capture and proposal phases, ensuring technical narratives are persuasive and compliant.
- Support proposal development by contributing architecture artifacts, technical content, and compliance-driven approaches.
Customer and Team Engagement
- Partner with government clients to understand mission needs and ensure proposed solutions align with objectives.
- Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders, addressing evolving needs and identifying growth opportunities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to internal technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate across functions to ensure seamless handoff from solution design to delivery.
Market Awareness and Strategy
- Stay informed about government technology trends, regulations, and compliance updates.
- Contribute technical insights to-market strategies for federal IT services.
- Continuously refine infrastructure solution offerings to align with customer demand and market evolution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 8 years of experience in infrastructure solution architecture and federal IT services.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes (FAR, DFARS) and compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC).
- Proven expertise in:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Cybersecurity, networking, storage, and virtualization
- Demonstrated success designing and delivering complex IT solutions for federal clients.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, PMP, APMP.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Strong presentation skills to communicate solutions to both technical and executive audiences.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
