Job Requirements

• Related experience or education preferred
• Ability to read, write and comprehend required
• Basic computer usage knowledge desired
• Ability to drive motor vehicles
• Ability to obtain forklift certification as required
• Overtime - occasional
• High School or GED required
• No travel required, except for occasional training
  
  

Major Responsibilities

• Ensure proper surface preparation prior to painting
• Ensure paint application meets the paint standard
• Load and unload parts/components to be painted
• Use of hand tools to uninstall/install components and prepare components for painting
• Perform rework and repair tasks
• Perform filter maintenance
• Perform quality checks
• Utilize proper safety techniques
• Use and conduct proper care of PPE
• May work in shot blast area
• Maintain daily time records
• Follow established safety and quality policies, procedures and practices
• Other job duties as assigned
  
  

The chosen hire will be placed into the appropriate job level based on their experience and qualifications, according to Altec guidelines.

Hourly rate with potential for occasional overtime.

$21-$22 per hour, depending on qualifications.
