As an Engineering Co-Op, you’ll support all functional areas of our Engineering Team at our Birmingham campus, with a primary focus on Rapid Continuous Improvement (RCI). You’ll rotate through all three Engineering Departments—Manufacturing, Quality, and Design—gaining hands-on experience and making a real impact on the products we build.

What You’ll Do
- Participate in RCI events and engineering projects across multiple departments
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve processes and product quality
- Contribute to real-world solutions that directly support our production teams
- Gain exposure to Altec’s custom manufacturing environment and engineering systems
- Enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university and in good academic standing
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- Completed a minimum of 24 credit hours or hold sophomore standing
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Industry leader with a strong reputation for innovation and quality
- Real-world engineering experience with meaningful projects
- Supportive team environment and mentorship opportunities
- Potential for future full-time employment
