Job Position: Quality Improvement Specialist (CHPQ Certified)Location: Remote, ILPay Rate: $21-22/hourSchedule: M-F, 8 AM - 4:30 PM CSTDescription: Support the development and maintenance of quality improvement related projects and reporting. Respond to quality improvement inquiries.Provide outreach to providers to request medical records.Process incoming medical records.Track received medical records.Retrieve all requested medical records per metrics and deadlines.Heavy chart monitoring and auditing of medical records.Monitor the production of quality results reporting; analyze, track and trend the reporting results and report them to management.Formulate and prepare ad-hoc and additional reporting requirements.Recommend, develop, and implement quality improvement plans with management.Train providers and staff in methodologies and tools of continuous quality improvement.Prepare for and participate in meetings with State agencies, providers, and stakeholders.Perform audits to meet state and internal requirements.Education/Experience:Required Hedis measure knowledge and experience.Required Medical Record retrieval experience.Required Quality Improvement and Provider telephonic outreach for Medical record retrieval.Required Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience, 3 years of related experience.Preferred Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
