What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapist Team Leader, Talladega position at AltaPointe Health Systems?
Directs and organizes program activities.
Writes program narratives, contracts, procedures and grants in a timely manner, as applicable.
Establishes program goals and objectives that support the organization's strategic plan.
Assures that program standards and objectives are met.
Leads program planning, development and implementation.
Identifies problems, evaluates alternatives and implements effective solutions.
Monitors division contracts and budget.
Monitors case loads and productivity of staff.
Ensures that staff provides coverage for crisis intervention.
Effectively collaborates with other AltaPointe program coordinators and outside sources.
Adheres to professional code of ethics.
Effectively demonstrates the application of child/adolescent specific competencies
Interviews and screens applicants when necessary and completes appropriate forms as outlined by Personnel Policy and procedures.
Provides training in the general orientaiton of the facility, policies and procedures, program operations and specific skill areas.
Is knowledgeable and applies personnel policies and procedures on a consistent basis.
Objectively completes performance evaluations on supervised staff and routes to Personnel Department on a timely basis.
Promotes the concept of treatment teams. Acts as a memeber of the treatment team.
Provides positive and effective leadership.
Provides staff with consultation and supervision as needed, individually or through group staff meetings.
Ensures competence of staff.
Seeks clinical supervision and consultation as needed.
Accepts and employs sugggestions for improvement.
Actively works to enhance clinical and leadership skills.
Treats consumers with care, dignity and compassion.
Respects consumer's privacy and confidentiality.
Is pleasant and cooperative with others.
Assists consumers and visitors as needed.

Is senstive to the consumer's needs, expectations and individual differences.
Is gentle and calm with consumers and families.
Actively participates in Performance Improvement activities.
Actively participates in AltaPointe committees as required.
Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Accesses appropriate community resources according to consumer needs.
Follows AltaPointe policies and procesures.
Master's degree in a mental health discipline with at least two years post master's experience.
Must be 23 years of age or older.
Must have valid driver's license with liability insurance.
