What You’ll Do
As Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 24th Street Branch. You'll lead a dynamic team, cultivate a member-focused culture, and ensure Altana continues to be a trusted financial partner in the community. Your key responsibilities will include:
✔ Lead, coach, and develop branch team members to deliver exceptional member service
✔ Supervise teller operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and friendly service at the front line
✔ Monitor and manage daily cash operations, including vault balancing, drawer audits, and ensuring compliance with cash handling policies
✔ Provide consumer lending services to our members, including loan interviews, processing, and approvals within authority
✔ Ensure branch compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
✔ Maintain branch security and risk management, including opening/closing procedures and safety protocols
✔ Foster a positive, productive work environment that supports collaboration, accountability, and individual growth
✔ Handle escalated member concerns or complex transactions with professionalism and care
✔ Build and maintain strong relationships with members, supporting their long-term financial goals
✔ Actively participate in community engagement and networking opportunities to promote Altana’s presence
✔ Promote Altana’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values in every interaction
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive and people-focused leader with strong knowledge of consumer lending and financial services. Our ideal candidate will have:
✔ Three to five years of consumer lending experience preferred
✔ Three to five years in a leadership or management role, preferably in the financial industry
✔ Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements
✔ Proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
✔ Knowledge of branch operations, teller duties, and cash handling procedures
✔ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
✔ A member-first mindset and a passion for helping others achieve financial success
