What are the responsibilities and job description for the Varsity Boys Head Basketball Coach position at ALTAMONT SCHOOL?
Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach will serve as the head coach of the varsity boys basketball team and work closely with all coaches in the boys’ basketball program at Altamont, from fifth through twelfth grade. Will be instrumental in working with the girls coach for scheduling games and developing an off-season program that includes the promotion and directing of summer camps.
Qualifications:Must have experience coaching basketball teams and developing basketball players, preferably as a head coach at the high school or collegiate level. Must be an excellent communicator, able to articulate Altamont’s mission and the role of athletics within that mission. Must pass a background screen.
