AltaML is on the hunt for a sharp, strategic, roll-up-your-sleeves Marketing Manager to lead our central marketing function. Reporting to the COO, you'll be the architect of our brand's narrative and the engine behind our market growth. You are the person who turns "AltaML is doing incredible work" into "AltaML is the name in agentic AI."
As we pivot toward a product-led future, we need a leader who can protect the elite brand reputation we've earned while scaling our go-to-market muscle through smart automation and vertical-focused strategy.
The Mission
You'll lead a small-but-mighty central team, currently a Marketing Specialist plus a trusted bench of freelance creative partners to drive brand awareness and high-quality lead generation. Your mandate: make sure our digital presence feels as innovative as the AI we build (and ideally, a little ahead of it).
As we grow, you'll evolve our hub-and-spoke model, where embedded industry marketers will look to you for functional excellence, career mentorship, and the cover they need to execute bold vertical GTM plays.

Set the strategy. Build and execute an annual marketing plan that genuinely serves Product, Client Success, and Sales

Steward the brand. Keep our identity sharp, consistent, and unmistakable across every channel. Our website and content should feel dynamic, and fresh.

Enable GTM. Partner with vertical leads to arm them with the assets, messaging, and sales tools they need to win in their industries.

Automate the engine. Implement and tune the marketing tech stack so demand gen hums along as a scalable, self-sufficient system.

Develop the team. Mentor internal talent, manage external agencies (design, web dev, and beyond), and keep the whole operation executing at a world-class level.

Measure everything that matters. Build the dashboards that show our marketing impact, then use the data to iterate fast on campaigns and ROI.

A proven track record. 7 years in integrated marketing, ideally in B2B tech or professional services.

Real leadership chops. 3–5 years managing teams and external partners.

Strategic and tactical range. You can paint a vision for the exec team one hour and jump into a campaign brief the next. This is a lead-by-doing role, and we mean it.

A tech-forward brain. Deep comfort with CRM (HubSpot), marketing and AI automation, and a real curiosity about where AI can reshape how marketing actually gets done.

Collaborative diplomacy. Excellent interpersonal instincts for navigating internal stakeholders and keeping marketing, sales, and product pulling in the same direction.
