Technician
Job Summary
Our client in Raymond, OH is looking for a Technician . This is a contract position.
What You Will Do
Support our Market Research Team with communication, coordination, planning, and instrumentation of data equipment to our customer vehicles.
Main
- Communicating with customers: Email and phone calls, to establish interest and availability
- Coordinating visits with customers to install data equipment. Aligning multiple customers for one trip.
- Create trip itineraries booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and arranging all logistics for customer visits.
- Installing data equipment onto customer vehicles, with the ability to troubleshoot as needed.
- Ride/drive ATVs and SxSs at closed test courses and public/private areas.
- Perform vehicle testing per outlined test procedures and requirements.
- Assemble and disassemble complete vehicles using engineering drawings, service manuals, and communicate with engineering staff.
- Perform vehicle maintenance/inspections/basic diagnostics.
- Be attentive to detail during testing and identify concerns/problems as they arise.
- Communicate/document concerns with project leaders, utilizing a high level of detail and a clear understanding of the situation/problem.
- Perform vehicle tear down for part confirmation and sub-component section evaluations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Mechanical aptitude with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must have 6 years closely related experience or related associates degree and 4 years experience.
- Electrical Systems Troubleshooting
- Understanding of Powersports Vehicle (ATV/SxS/Dirt Bike)
- Communicate effectively and professionally; good customer service mindset and skills (Emails, Phone Calls, Face-to-face)
- Multi-task, communicate effectively, and identify concerns/issues
- Able to track, maintain, and procure test equipment/components as needed
- Work proficiently in a team environment
- Follow instructions and or defined test procedures
- Comfortable to ask questions in a situation with uncertainty
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Travel: 25-30%
- Strong passion for the Powersports Product
- Experience riding/repairing ATV/SxS preferred
