About the Role
Are you looking for an exciting paid summer internship experience? Our Corporate Engineering Team is launching a new internship program to support ouranticipatedgrowth. Our summer program combines challenging work experience and the opportunity to work closely with our team members! You willassistEngineers on Capital and O&M projects.
You Are:
A rising senior or junior
Enrolled in a bachelor's degreein an ABET accredited Engineering program, includingMechanical, Civil, Materials Science, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or Natural Gas Petroleum
Key Responsibilities
Assistengineers in providing overall engineering support for distribution piping systems, customer measurement, plant improvement, and data analysis projects.
Provide engineeringassistancefor the development of new or updating of existing O&M procedures and Construction Standards.
Provide engineering support on other company projects, specifications, and procedures, asrequired.
Assistengineers by providing administrative and project specific documentation organization.
Assistengineers to perform greenhouse gas improvement processes.
Assistengineers with gathering field data.
Participate in site visits to company facilities, potentially including active construction projects.
Skill Requirement(s):
Proven organizational and analytical skillsin order tobe able to analyze processes, make recommendations,monitorthe effectiveness of thedepartmentand provide future direction and guidance.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written,in order todeal effectively with a variety of interpersonal relationships and situations.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.Must be able to provide effective change-management leadership that will effectuate change to support the region's business strategy.
Mustmaintaina positive work atmosphere through effective interactions and communications with co-workers,customersand management.
Mustmaintaina safe environment for co-workers,customersand the public through adherence toestablishedsafety standards andtimelyreporting of potential hazards.
Must adhere to Company policies and procedures related to the code of business ethics, compliance, responsible use of Company assets, and all applicable state and federal laws
