The Bakery Clerk will be an integral part of delivering quality service and products to our valued customers.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their selections in the bakery section
- Prepare and package baked goods, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell bakery items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery display, shelves, and work areas
- Restock baked goods and supplies as needed throughout the shift
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper sanitation and food storage procedure
- Manage time effectively to ensure customer orders are fulfilled promptly during busy periods
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions
