What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher position at Alta Vista Montessori School?
We are looking for an assistant teacher to join our beautiful Montessori school. This is a full time, year-round position, Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:30 working with children 3 to 6 years old in a mixed aged classroom.
Applicants must have experience working with preschool children in a Montessori classroom or preschool/childcare environment.
We are looking for a candidate who is reliable, warm, positive, cooperative team worker and skilled communicator. Our new assistant must be open and willing to be trained by the lead Montessori teacher and to follow her guidance. Additionally we want someone who is patient, kind and respectful to children.
