Lead Mental Health Therapist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• 
  Coordinate and conduct intakes, assessments, and observations to develop comprehensive Bio-Psycho-Social assessments and establish goals.

• 
  Diagnose, create treatment plans, and implement therapeutic care

• 
  Oversight of therapist and intern implementation of curriculum relating to day treatment clients, and assistance in coordination of treating family systems

• 
  Assist in providing task supervision and training, as directed by Clinical Director or Executive Director

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Collaborate in designing and overseeing day treatment curriculum planning and implementation

• 
  Initiate and maintain routine case management meetings, as needed and relevant to coordinate client care

• 
  Ensure behavior support plans are recorded and disseminated to staff within 72 hours

• 
  Facilitate center therapists and intern support on ethical standards of practice and intervention methods during weekly co-supervision and/or co-counseling through modeling, verbal guidance, and written feedback.

• 
  Co-facilitate bi-monthly staff training with other program managers

• 
  Attending Program Coordinator meetings, as scheduled and required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Clinical licensure in the areas of counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or comparable field. Associate level therapists are welcome to apply.

REQUIRED

• 
  Master's degree in social services, counseling, or social work

• 
  Minimum one year experience implementing evidence-based interventions with individuals with varying neurodiversity challenges.

• 
  Knowledge of autism, ADHD, trauma-informed practices, DBT, ACES, as well as dynamics that affect functioning.

• 
  Must be willing to independently maintain CEU requirements to maintain license, and obtain training, outside of scheduled work, to maintain an active knowledge of issues affecting populations that we serve.
