About Us: Alta Services (dba Alta Contracting) is a full-service demolition contractor providing commercial and industrial demolition services. With over 20 years in the construction industry, Alta is well-versed in all phases of commercial interior and exterior demolition. We are looking for field laborers to join our team.
Job Summary: As a Field Employee specializing in soft demolition, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of demolition tasks at our worksites. This hands-on position will require you to perform various soft demolition activities following established procedures.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct soft demolition tasks, including but not limited to removing fixtures, non-load-bearing walls, and interior components.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for soft demolition work.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment.
- Assist in the removal and disposal of debris and waste materials generated during demolition.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Preferred 1 year of experience with standard demolition tools, hand tools and power tools.
- Must be able to legally work in the US.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- This job requires constant walking, standing, and physically lifting debris; must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Must be able to commute to Corona, CA
- Must be open to working days, nights & weekends if needed.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently.
- Must be open to working with others.
