Join our amazing team! Must be a motivated leader and learner. This position will consist of a full-time assignment as an IB teacher. IB teachers at Alta Public Schools are responsible for creating an inquiry based, dynamic, engaging, student-led environment for teaching and learning. With teachers as the facilitator, students are provided opportunities to practice and demonstrate thoughtful and ethical behavior and skills grounded in the International Baccalaureate aims and objectives. Under the general supervision of the site administrator, the Interventionist serves as specialized classroom teacher for students in need of academic intervention. Emphasis will be placed on addressing students’ academic needs in Mathematics. A California Clear or Preliminary teaching credential in the assigned subject area(s) and a valid English Learner Authorization are required. Resume 3 Reference Letters Copy of Transcripts Copy of Credential Copy of Degree
Unofficial Transcripts/Official transcripts required upon being hired Copy of Credential(s) Please note: All Teaching candidates must be ESSA compliant. Candidates must possess the appropriate teaching credential for the position in which the candidate is applying for. However, if the candidate is enrolled in a credentialing/internship program at a college/university, the candidate must show proof of program participation and completion plan.
