Alta Paving & Concrete is growing and looking for skilled Asphalt Paving Operators to join our high‑performance paving team. If you know how to run a paver, roller, or screed with precision — and you want steady work with a crew that respects craftsmanship — this is the place to be.

- Paver Operators
- Screed Operators
- Roller Operators (Breakdown, Intermediate, Finish)
- Skid Steer / Support Equipment Operators
What You’ll Do
- Operate paving equipment safely and efficiently on commercial, municipal, and private projects
- Set up, monitor, and adjust screed settings for proper depth, crown, and cross‑slope
- Maintain consistent mat quality, joint straightness, and smoothness
- Coordinate with the paving foreman and ground crew to maintain production flow
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Assist with jobsite prep, cleanup, and support tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating asphalt paving equipment (paver, screed, or rollers)
- Strong understanding of paving techniques, compaction patterns, and mix behavior
- Ability to read grades, follow layout, and communicate clearly with the crew
- Reliable, safety‑minded, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak paving season
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
