We’re seeking compassionate Caregivers, Personal Care Aides (PCA), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team. We are looking for somebody to care for clients M-F from 6:45-10:45 am, knowing your work with us will truly make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities
As an Alta Living Care caregiver, you will:
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Support meal planning, preparation, and feeding assistance
- Transfer clients from couch to wheelchair
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe home environment
- Provide medication reminders and wellness checks
- Encourage social engagement and meaningful daily routines
- Follow individualized care plans and communicate regularly with staff and family members
Qualifications
We welcome experienced caregivers as well as those just starting their career in care. Requirements include:
- Compassion, patience, and a strong desire to help others
- Previous caregiving experience (professional or personal preferred)
- Completion of PCA, HHA, CNA, or Nurse Aide coursework (preferred but not required)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Ability to use basic technology (phone, app, email) to clock in/out and communicate with the office
- Ability to pass a state-mandated background check, reference check, and drug screen
