ALTA has strong product-market fit in healthcare, deep relationships with some of the most recognizable health systems in the country, and a proven track record. What we havent had is a dedicated, structured approach to outbound growth.
This role is primarily responsible for generating new revenue new logos, new relationships, new pipeline. We have a team managing existing accounts and inbound opportunities. What we dont have and what this role is entirely focused on is a structured outbound engine. Youll build that from scratch: the strategy, the playbook, the pipeline, and eventually the team around it.
Youll come in as a player-coach in the truest sense: owning and closing large, complex deals yourself while standing up the outbound function. Youll also oversee all key accounts and directly supervise our Key Account Manager, ensuring top clients receive the strategic attention they deserve.
**This is an executive director-level role with a clear path to VP of Sales and Marketing in 12-18 months based on performance. Were building for the long term and expect this person to grow with us.**

# What Youll Do
## Drive New Business
- Own new revenue generation this is your primary mandate. Set meetings, qualify prospects, and bring buyers to the table.
- Build ALTAs outbound sales function from the ground up: strategy, pipeline, and process.
- Be the proof of concept demonstrate what great outbound looks like at ALTA so we can hire and train around your model.
- Leverage social media selling (LinkedIn and beyond) to build pipeline, establish presence, and open doors.
- Activate your network: bring well-established relationships in healthcare to generate early pipeline and win new logos fast.
- Oversee all key accounts and directly supervise our Key Account Manager to ensure top clients receive exceptional strategic attention.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales and marketing professionals.
- Manage ALTAs relationship with its external marketing agency, holding them accountable to revenue goals and brand standards.
- Guide the RFP process strategy, Proposal Writer support, and ensuring responses are compelling and competitive.
- Partner with leadership to align outbound efforts with company-wide priorities.
## Non-Negotiables
- 5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets especially in new business / new logo acquisition.
- Well-connected in the healthcare space with relationships you can activate immediately: health systems, managed care, or adjacent verticals.
- Demonstrated experience building an outbound sales function from scratch.
- Comfort selling to C-suite executives and navigating complex, consultative sales cycles.
- Strong Salesforce proficiency with emphasis on pipeline discipline and reporting.
- Experience managing external agencies or vendors and holding them accountable to outcomes.
- Proven experience leading and developing a sales or sales-and-marketing team.
- Experience at companies in a similar revenue range ($10M-$50M) large-enterprise backgrounds may find this environment a poor fit.
- Bachelors degree required; relevant advanced degree a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 15%)
- Active social selling practice you use LinkedIn strategically, not just occasionally.
- Working knowledge of SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
- Familiarity with EOS (Entrepr neurial Operating System) ALTA runs on EOS company-wide.
