Sunterra Springs Independence is proud to announce a PRN OT position. Sunterra Springs is a 38-bed skilled nursing facility across the street from Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri.
The skilled nursing staff consists of trained professionals that are prepared to provide extraordinary care for even the most complex health conditions. Our OT would be responsible for the following:
- Assessing the patient’s physical, communication, and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
- Helping patients to take part in every day activities based on their unique circumstances
- Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief
- Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly
- Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls
