Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator based in Gilbert, AZ. The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project plans, preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, and working closely with the sales and project management teams. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing blueprints and specifications, sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring estimates align with project requirements and budgets. The Estimator will also represent Alta Glazing in client meetings and contribute to maintaining client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project documents
- Strong analytical skills and experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Experience with relevant software/tools, such as Estimating Software or AutoCAD
- Strong communication, collaboration, and client relationship management skills
- Organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively
- Knowledge of glazing systems, materials, and construction processes is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
