This pivotal role focuses on driving regional growth by identifying key customer segments and delivering exceptional, world-class service to our existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, lead, coach, develop and retain a team of sales, technical, and service personnel
- Communicate and promote the company to establish the brand and market presence in the area
- Work with the Regional Sales Director to develop annual goals, budgets, marketing plans and targets
- Strategic planning, business development, and profitability for region
- Strong contribution and engagement in all US Sales meetings
- Planning for and taking corrective actions when gaps are identified within the team
- Regularly report on progress and performance of the region
- Bachelor of Science Degree is preferred (focus in Animal Science, Dairy Science or Agricultural Science is desirable)
- Possess a sound agricultural background and/or dairy industry experience
- A proven track record of success within a target driven sales environment
- Excitement for a Player/Coach role
- Ability to travel approximately 50% within the region
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Professional presence; ability to present to all levels/audiences
