The URUS Installation & Technical Support Specialist will support regional sales support, technical trouble shooting, and technical implementation for the GENEX Herd Monitor™ and Alta Cow Watch™ systems. This role merges commercial and technical expertise to ensure the successful deployment and utilization of livestock monitoring technologies that drive reproductive performance, operational efficiency, and on-farm profitability.

Technical Implementation & Support

Responsibilities
Technical Implementation & Support
- Serve as project manager and lead administrator for installation, configuration, and onboarding of Herd Monitor™ and Cow Watch™ systems.
- Train customers in system usage, software tools (e.g., DairyComp), and on-farm integration
- Provide post-installation support
- Partner with Sales and Technical teams on prospecting, system proposals and service agreements
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of customers and key accounts
- Develop innovative use cases, pilot programs, and market-ready configurations
- Gather and analyze customer feedback
- Liaise with the Nedap Category Manager and other business units to ensure alignment with global initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Animal Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to travel (air and land) up to 75% within the West and Central regions
- Strong dairy background with experience working directly with cows and dairy operations
- Technical aptitude and experience with livestock monitoring or agtech systems preferred
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Passion for delivering value and building long-term relationships with progressive producers
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders.
