Introduction: Alta California Geotechnical, Inc. is a geotechnical engineering consulting firm for developers and government agencies on residential, commercial and public projects in Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Bernardino Counties. We combine the disciplines of soil engineering and engineering geology on every project to provide cost-effective practical solutions, and appropriate, helpful field support during construction.
Job Summary: We have an immediate opening for a Soils Technician for our Corona office. 5 years’ experience observing, testing and documenting mass grading and utility backfill during construction is preferred. Candidates should be reliable, have strong communication and technical skills, have a good work ethic and be able to cooperate with co-workers and clients respectfully. Should be trained and certified for nuclear density gauge. Other construction certificates are desirable. Must drive own vehicle capable of offroad; travel may be required.
Projected Start Date: May 2023
Location: Office and lab are in Corona, CA. Projects in Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Bernardino Counties.
Requirements:
· Offroad vehicle required.
· Certified for nuclear density gauge.
· Experience in grading/construction.
Pay: $25 to $32 dollars per hour depending on experience
