Job Overview
- Monday - Friday, consistent school day, kindergarten classroom.
- Position under guidance of school team, BCBA and Assistive Technologist.
- Responsible for implementing steps in behavior support plan (re: adaptive behavior & classroom readiness) to support inclusion access.
- Responsible for prompting use of voice output device to supplement vocal communication.
- Responsible for delivering schedule of direct instruction during academic periods.
- Record/data keeping.
- Emphasis on mindfulness & ACT practices.
- Experience in ABA not required, but must be willing to be trained and accept feedback well.
- Essential functions include physical demands (up/down from floor, go outdoors readily), multitasking, solid organizational skills.
- Child is fully toilet trained, no toileting required.
- Non-benefitted position with higher hourly rate.
- Consistent income - day still paid - in the event the child is absent.
- Additional compensation can include RBT supervision at no cost to you.
- Additional hours outside of school calendar (vacations, holidays) possible if interested.
- Excellent opportunity for evening college students, or those seeking a placement to gain required supervision hours for the BACB.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
