Barista at Alta Bakery and Cafe

Alta Bakery in Monterey, CA is looking for baristas to join our team. Our ideal candidates are self-starters that are ambitious and reliable. Applicants must be available on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist customers with pastry and menu ordering
• Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in customer service, barista experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively

Compensation

• $16 per hour plus generous tips
