Alt & Witzig Engineering is a geotechnical engineering firm dedicated to providing our clients with real-time solutions to needs that arise daily. Currently, we have a position open for a Field Engineering Technician. No prior experience is required for this role.
Field Engineering Technician Duties
- Coordinate with geotechnical project managers to perform on-site tasks required to complete geotechnical investigations.
- Coordinate with state utilities and private utility locators.
- Perform sample retrieval and some laboratory testing.
- Other duties as assigned by the Lead Engineer
Field Engineering Technician Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical ability to traverse job sites that are heavily wooded and/or rolling terrain.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
