-Entry level lab/field technician position with on the job training. However, experience / education with construction testing field work/experience and certifications (ACI, ICC, NICET, INDOT, or OSHA) will be considered for pay rate.
-Part time positions available for various schedules.
-A company vehicle and gas card are provided for field work.
-Overtime is available but not required.
Job Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
-Valid driver's license (required)
-Self-motivated and reliable (required)
-Basic math skills and effective verbal / written communication skills (required)
-Degree in construction management, materials science, geology, civil engineering or training in construction / civil engineering (preferred)
-Graduates, AND students are encouraged to apply
-Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. of material / equipment (required)
Job Responsibilities:
-Prepare and perform testing of soil, aggregate, and concrete samples in the lab and field as directed or in accordance with company training.
-Assist with sampling of construction materials (soils, aggregates, asphalt) and other materials as directed.
-Operate testing equipment accurately and efficiently.
-Maintain documentation of testing data.
- Calculate and deliver test results to supervising technician, manager, or engineer.
-May train lower-level technicians.
-Assist other technicians or professional staff on routine tasks.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
