Job Summary: The Military Community Engagement Manager is an operationally focused role responsible for building, managing, and scaling the company’s military talent pipeline and community presence. Reporting to Operations, this role owns the full lifecycle of military candidate engagement from initial outreach and relationship-building through candidate readiness and formal handoff to Talent Acquisition while partnering with HR on program development, compliance, and retention initiatives.
This is not a transactional sourcing role. The ideal candidate brings deep personal or professional connections to the military community, a consultative mindset, and the ability to translate military experience into civilian career pathways at scale. Success in this role is measured by the quality and readiness of candidates presented to Talent Acquisition, the strength of external military community partnerships, and the long-term retention and engagement of military-affiliated employees.

- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for military candidates from initial outreach through candidate readiness.
- Build and manage a robust military talent pipeline through targeted outreach, partnerships with military community organizations, base transition offices, VSOs, and military-affiliated networks.
- Translate military experience into civilian terms to help candidates present their skills effectively and to help hiring managers evaluate non-traditional backgrounds.
- Champion an inclusive, barrier-free candidate experience, proactively addressing relocation timelines, deployment considerations, and security clearance requirements.
- Provide ongoing mentorship throughout and beyond the hiring process, including resume coaching, interview preparation, and career pathway guidance.
- Maintain current knowledge of military community needs, cultural considerations, and industry best practices to continuously improve engagement quality.
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for military candidates from initial outreach through candidate readiness.
- Build and manage a robust military talent pipeline through targeted outreach, partnerships with military community organizations, base transition offices, VSOs, and military-affiliated networks.
- Translate military experience into civilian terms to help candidates present their skills effectively and to help hiring managers evaluate non-traditional backgrounds.
- Champion an inclusive, barrier-free candidate experience, proactively addressing relocation timelines, deployment considerations, and security clearance requirements.

- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for military candidates, including active-duty service members, veterans, military spouses, and National Guard/Reserve personnel, from initial outreach through candidate readiness.
- Build and manage a robust military talent pipeline through targeted outreach, partnerships with military community organizations, base transition offices, VSOs, and military-affiliated networks.
- Translate military experience into civilian terms to help candidates present their skills effectively and to help hiring managers evaluate non-traditional backgrounds.
- Champion an inclusive, barrier-free candidate experience, proactively addressing relocation timelines, deployment considerations, and security clearance requirements.
- Provide ongoing mentorship throughout and beyond the hiring process, including resume coaching, interview preparation, and career pathway guidance.
- Maintain current knowledge of military community needs, cultural considerations, and industry best practices to continuously improve engagement quality.
- Represent the company at military community events, career fairs, and outreach programs as approved by Operations.
- Maintain an active professional presence on LinkedIn to engage the military community and amplify the company’s military hiring brand.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or military community engagement, with at least 2 years focused on military/veteran hiring programs.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
