Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your financial project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and driven teammates.

You'll play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring strategic decision-making, and optimizing project outcomes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including the project director, procurement lead, supply chain manager, engineering representative, and quality manager), provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes, and contribute to financial forecasting and reporting—and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Being the primary financial leader and business partner to the project director,
  • Monitoring and communicating project performance to key stakeholders,
  • Tracking and analyzing financial metrics, including revenue, profitability, and cash flow,
  • Providing monthly financial performance reviews to regional management,
  • Generating accurate forecasts on revenue trends, cash projections, and short-term budgets,
  • Participating in project decision-making processes by providing financial guidance and analysis,
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain, engineering, and quality management,
  • Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal governance rules,
  • Supporting claim management and advising on financial aspects of contract terms and conditions,
  • Managing and analyzing costs, revenue, and profitability while optimizing financial performance.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field,
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, project finance management, and business performance analysis,
  • Knowledge of financial metrics, forecasting, and reporting (e.g., revenue, profitability, cash flow),
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling tools,
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills,
  • Excellent communication abilities to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders,
  • Integrity and resilience in managing complex financial scenarios,
  • Coordination and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams,
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset to identify and implement financial improvements,
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and adapt to new technologies.

Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Work with a diverse and cross-functional project team, including the Project Director, Procurement Lead, Supply Chain Manager, Engineering Representative, and Quality Manager to ensure financial success and compliance,
  • Progress towards mastering financial leadership, strategic decision-making, and advanced forecasting methodologies while contributing to large-scale projects exceeding $100 million in value,
  • Utilise our inclusive, dynamic, and innovation-driven working environment to foster professional growth and continuously develop your expertise in financial project management,
  • Contribute to innovative projects,
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries,
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, 401k).
