Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a critical role in delivering technical designs and solutions for power supply and distribution systems for electrified transit systems, ensuring the seamless operation of DC traction power substations and medium/low voltage distribution systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, suppliers, and installation contractors), create single-line diagrams and control schematics, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Reviewing, analyzing, and managing customer technical specifications,
- Creating single line diagrams and control schematics,
- Performing power distribution analysis: equipment sizing, load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, protection coordination, power quality, and arc flash,
- Developing customer design documentation and participating in design reviews,
- Providing power supply system interface requirements to external design teams,
- Creating equipment technical specifications and evaluating supplier,
- Supporting site installation, testing, and commissioning,
- Understanding and applying power distribution fundamentals to ensure reliable and efficient system design.

- Degree in Electrical Engineering,
- Experience or understanding of power distribution fundamentals and electrical system design,
- Knowledge of power load flow, voltage drop, and short circuit calculations,
- Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, and general knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs),
- Ability to read and interpret electrical distribution drawings and schematics.
