Could you be the full-time Atlanta Supervisor in Atlanta, GA we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and organizational expertise in a dynamic and impactful field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dedicated teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our vehicles, contributing directly to the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our services. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (technicians, contractors, and other departments), develop and implement maintenance plans, and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards, among other responsibilities.

You’ll specifically take care of leading maintenance teams and ensuring quality workmanship, but also collaborate across departments to manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leading shifts of maintenance and operation employees, including technicians and contracted staff
  • Formulating work schedules and assignments to support vehicle maintenance and special events
  • Providing on-the-job training, re-training, and re-certification to ensure technical knowledge is maintained
  • Monitoring and evaluating employee performance for quality and efficiency
  • Developing contingency plans to minimize the impact of changes or events on revenue service
  • Ensuring accurate administrative processes, including time and materials tracking, work order management, and equipment failure analysis
  • Enforcing safety rules and conducting safety risk analyses and inspections
  • Collaborating across departments to address emergencies and other events affecting revenue service

All About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in maintenance operations or team leadership
  • Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance processes
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and risk management
  • A certification in maintenance management or a related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems in a dynamic environment

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
  • Progress towards roles such as Operations Manager or Maintenance Manager
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

Important to note

As a global business, we’re an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.
