What You Will Do
- Design, prototype, and test mechanical systems for current and future ALSO electric mobility products.
- Develop detailed CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings for rapid prototyping.
- Perform tolerance analyses, FEA simulations, and design validation.
- Build and test prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and analyze results to improve designs.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Skilled in 3D CAD (Catia or 3DExperience preferred) and familiar with FEA and tolerance analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and hands-on prototyping abilities.
- Innovative — You love building what doesn’t yet exist.
- Collaborative — You thrive on teamwork and cross-functional problem-solving.
- Detail-Oriented — You blend creativity with engineering precision.
- Passionate — You believe in ALSO’s mission to make sustainable mobility accessible and fun.
- Experience designing or prototyping EV, e-bike, or consumer electronic components.
- Exposure to GD&T, rapid prototyping methods, and design validation testing.
- Comfortable with hands-on fabrication, testing equipment, or lab instrumentation.
- Previous internship or project work in a startup, automotive, or mobility company.
