Revenue Cycle Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Revenue Cycle Coordinator to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the revenue cycle process to ensure timely and accurate billing, collections, and reimbursement. This role requires strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and a thorough understanding of healthcare billing and coding procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the entire revenue cycle process from patient registration to final payment.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance companies and other payers.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments and denials.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
- Prepare and analyze revenue cycle reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in training staff on revenue cycle policies and procedures.
- Support audits and provide documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or medical billing.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.
